Broadband Sandwell

This schematic diagram shows the design of the core backbone network.

All sites (schools , learning centres and college campus sites) are connected at 10mb to either the main network nodes in West Bromwich, Smethwick and Oldbury or to one of seven sub-concentration nodes linked to the main nodes.

The design provides a high degree of protection for sites within the network.

Services that are to be available across the network and externally are normally located within the data centre.
