Administration of Sentinel Anti Bullying Services
This page is for the use of authorised Broadband Sandwell staff only. All services will require a valid username and password to allow access.

Most of the time callers will need you to set up new users, change passwords or reacitvate accounts.
Please ensure that the caller tells you the user name that they wish to use and their email address, and ensure that you check their authenticity before proceding.
To set a new password:
Log in to Sentinel (click here)
Choose system maintenance menu
Choose general maintenance menu
Choose change users password
Select the user name in the drop down list of usernames
Set a password for the user
Click Submit
NB It may also be necessary to re-activate the user, see the reactivate section below
To activate or reactivate a user:
Log in to Sentinel (click here)
Choose system maintenance menu
Choose general maintenance menu
Choose activate user
Select the user name in the drop down list of usernames
Enter YOUR PASSWORD in the password field
Set User Status to Active
Set Account Status to enabled
Click Submit
To create a new user:
Log in to Sentinel (click here)
Choose system maintenance menu
Choose general maintenance menu
Choose create new user
Fill in all fields of the add user form appropriately
Click submit
Click Continue to set up user profile
Fill in all fields of the add user form appropriately.
Note there is a school called "Local Authority" if needed.
Click Submit, then Click Continue.

Choose general maintenance menu
Choose User Group Maintenance
Choose the group that should contain the new user
Locate the user in the list of users, then double click on the user to add the user to the group
If you make a mistake, click Reset at the bottom of the form.
Click Submit only when all details are correct
Click Continue.
To delete a user:
Log in to Sentinel (click here)
Choose system maintenance menu
Choose general maintenance menu
Choose remove existing user
Choose the user name from the drop down list
Enter YOUR PASSWORD
Click Submit
Click Continue
