Broadband Technical Support service has developed an Active Directory based network system with particular focus on the educational environment. We are currently in our fifth year continued development of the system.
The system based on a Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Service Pack 2 workstation environment, provides management tools which allow network administrators to perform common management functions with ease such as software installation and user management. In addition tools are provided which allow the networked workstations to be locked down limiting access pupils have to change settings on these workstations.

Broadband Sandwell Software contains pre built packages ready for allocation on your IT suite. These include some system packages that are allocated by default to all rooms together with other essential packages which can be installed as an option. These include Macromedia™ Shockwave and Apple™ Quicktime. |
| Broadband Sandwell Driver Sets |
Broadband Sandwell also provides a route to procure new or replacement hardware for your network system including workstations, printers, scanners and servers. The Broadband Sandwell Drivers sets contain system drivers for nearly all hardware we sell. Installing these drivers sets onto your network system will allow the hardware to function correctly without having to manually install drivers. |
